This mixed clay stoneware mug features a unique swirl of light blue and dark chocolate clay. Each mug holds ten ounces, and is perfect for your favorite hot beverage.
This ceramic mug is made with two distinct clay bodies that swirl together when thrown on the wheel, giving each mug a unique design reminiscent of cool wind or coastal waves. The inside, outside lip, and handle are all glazed with a speckled white glaze, making it food safe and pleasant to hold. The exterior of the mug is not glazed and sanded down to feel like a smooth river stone.
Each mug is approximately 3.2 in. tall and 3.2 in wide (lip of mug), and each hold around 10 ounces.
They are food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
Due to the handmade nature of each piece there are minor differences in design.
Each piece is created in my home studio in Portland, Oregon, where clay is stained, thrown, trimmed, fired, glazed, and sanded by me. Every step in production, all the way to packaging and shipping them to their new homes is truly a labor of love, and a beautiful way to share my art as a functional piece in your home.
