This mixed clay stoneware mini bud vase features a unique swirl of cream and dark chocolate colored clay. This mini vase is perfect for a small bunch of wildflowers, pens and pencils, paintbrushes, or even as a toothbrush holder.
This vase is made with two distinct clay bodies that swirl together when thrown on the wheel, giving it a unique design reminiscent of desert wind or waves of water. The inside has a speckled white glaze, making it food safe and easy to clean. The exterior of the vase is not glazed, and is sanded down to feel like a smooth river stone.
Each piece is created in my home studio in Portland, Oregon, where clay is stained, thrown, trimmed, fired, glazed, and sanded by me. Every step in production, all the way to packaging and shipping the piece to its new home is truly a labor of love, and a beautiful way to share my art as a functional piece in your home or office.
